Position Summary We are looking for Journeyman Electricians with strong commercial electrical experience and expertise in duct bank installation. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems on a variety of commercial projects, ensuring all work meets local and national electrical codes as well as our company’s high standards for quality and safety. Key Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial environments, including conduit, wiring, panels, lighting, and controls. • Perform all phases of duct bank installation, including trenching, conduit placement, concrete encasement, and backfilling. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to ensure accurate installations. • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards or defects, ensuring compliance with codes and standards. • Troubleshoot electrical problems and perform corrective repairs efficiently. • Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to keep projects on schedule. • Adhere strictly to OSHA and company safety procedures, wearing proper PPE and promoting a safe work environment. • Complete all required documentation such as daily reports, time sheets, and material logs. Skills & Qualifications • Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License required. Experience • Minimum 4 years of commercial electrical experience. • Proven hands-on experience with duct bank installation. • Experience with medium-voltage systems is a plus. Technical Skills • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction documents, and electrical schematics. • Proficiency in bending conduit, pulling wire, terminating panels and devices. • Familiarity with NEC, utility company standards, and local codes. Safety & Physical Requirements • Committed to safe work practices and compliance with OSHA standards. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, in trenches, or confined spaces as required.
