Journeyman Electrician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both industrial and commercial electrical. This role requires expertise in various electrical systems, including high and low voltage applications, and the use of hand and power tools. The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations and repairs meet industry standards. Expectations for Journeyman Electrician: - Must hold a current and valid Texas Journeyman Electrician license. - Minimum of 5 years of residential and/or commercial electrical experience. - Proficient in troubleshooting, panel upgrades, rewires, and code-compliant installations. - Must arrive on time and be ready to work the assigned schedule (typically Wednesday-Friday, with possible Saturday work as needed). - Must provide their own standard electrician's hand tools; Company will provide specialty tools and materials. - Must wear clean, professional work attire and maintain a professional appearance. - Must follow all safety protocols, use PPE when required, and comply with NEC and local code requirements. - Must maintain clear communication with the project lead and/or, Master Electrician & Owner of Company. - Must log daily job activities and hours worked per company procedure.- No side work or solicitation of Company clients permitted. The journeyman will begin on an as-needed or per-job basis depending on call volume. As our workload increases, we will accommodate additional hours and move toward a consistent full-time schedule. This arrangement ensures both parties can evaluate fit and performance before committing to a full-time role. Work Structure & Supervision: - All jobs will be assigned and scheduled through Company's ( Virtual Assistant). -Journeyman will work independently or with an assigned apprentice/helper depending on project scope. - Performance will be reviewed during and at the end of the 90-day period to determine eligibility for direct hire Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $39.00 per hour Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
