Journeyman Electrical Technician: Immediate opening. Western Autowash Systems, Inc. is looking for a Field Maintenance Journeyman Electrician in Las Vegas. Western Autowash Systems, Inc. Celebrating over 25 years in business and currently serving well over 100 facilities Western Autowash Systems, Inc. is the largest distributor and installer of automated vehicle wash systems in southern Nevada. GENERAL PURPOSE: We are seeking a skilled and dependable Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical installations, maintenance, and repair for commercial and/or industrial projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure high-quality, code-compliant electrical work. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Duties & Responsibilities: · Self-driven and highly motivated. · Installation and wiring of motor control systems. · Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. · Test electrical systems and components using appropriate tools to ensure proper operation and safety. · Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions. · Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other trades to complete projects efficiently. · Train and mentor apprentices as needed. · Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project. · Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards. · Participate in routine inspections and preventive maintenance to reduce downtime. · Provide input on project planning, material needs, and cost estimates. Qualifications · Trustworthy, organized, detail oriented, motivated self-starter, able to multi-task. · OSHA 10 & 30 certified. · Valid Drivers License, clean driving history last 7 years · Reliable transportation. · Experience with low-voltage systems or controls. Schedule: · Schedule for this position runs from 7 AM to 3 PM Monday through Friday. · Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays. (Rotating on-call schedule). · Occasional out of town travel.
