Journeyman Electrician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both industrial and commercial electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems, including programmable logic controllers and low voltage applications. This role requires expertise in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as proficiency in using various hand and power tools. The Journeyperson Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards. Responsibilities • Pull Wire • Run Conduit • Terminate Cables • Low Voltage work • Read Prints • Must have own Tools • Help put in fixtures (Fans, plugs, lights, switches, etc.) • Punch out work • Work well unsupervised Requirements • Proven experience as a Journeyperson Electrician with industrial and commercial electrician experience preferred. • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards. • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents. • Experience with programmable logic controllers is highly desirable. • Familiarity with both high voltage and low voltage systems. • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment effectively. • Construction site experience is essential; frame carpentry skills are a plus. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
