Journeyman Plumber

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing and construction, demonstrating proficiency in both residential and commercial plumbing systems. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship on every project. Responsibilities • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout of plumbing systems. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for various plumbing tasks. • Perform pipe threading and assembly as needed for different projects. • Conduct field service work, addressing plumbing issues promptly and efficiently. • Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project timelines are met. • Execute heavy lifting tasks as required for installation or repair of plumbing fixtures. • Engage in maintenance activities to ensure all plumbing systems function effectively. • Apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing installations. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: • Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of HVAC systems. • Familiarity with carpentry practices is a plus. • Previous construction site experience is highly desirable. • Excellent mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various plumbing issues. • Experience with maintenance person tasks that may involve remodeling or maintenance work. • A valid commercial driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
