Journeyman Plumber

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing and construction, demonstrating proficiency in various plumbing tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing codes and regulations, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Journeyperson Plumber will work on diverse projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Duties • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. • Perform construction plumbing tasks, including pipe threading and assembly. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing applications. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute plumbing installations accurately. • Conduct field service work, addressing customer needs promptly and professionally. • Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure project completion. • Execute heavy lifting tasks as required for transporting materials and equipment. • Maintain a clean work environment while adhering to safety protocols. • Provide maintenance services for existing plumbing systems to ensure optimal functionality. Experience • Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing principles. • Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus. • Previous experience on construction sites is highly desirable. • Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems is beneficial. • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations are essential. • Experience in carpentry or maintenance person services is advantageous for remodeling projects. • Ability to operate commercial driving vehicles may be required based on job assignments.
