Journeyman Plumber - Contract

Journeyman/Lead Plumber Needed for a Project in Malibu (Contract Basis) Based out of Burbank, CA We are a growing plumbing company based in Burbank, currently looking for an experienced and reliable journeyman plumber to lead a small crew (3-4 people) on an upcoming residential/commercial project in Malibu. What We're Offering: • Project-based contract: This is a contract position for the duration of the project. We're upfront that this is not a permanent full-time hire at this stage. • Crew leadership: You’ll be responsible for managing a small crew on-site, ensuring quality work and efficient workflow. • Support and management: I (the owner) will be managing the project directly — handling materials, permits, inspections, and providing all necessary job information and support. • Transportation: We have two company work vans, and one may be designated as a take-home vehicle for the journeyman (depending on reliability and performance), to streamline transportation and reduce unnecessary trips to the office. What We're Looking For: • Strong journeyman experience (minimum 5 years preferred) • Ability to manage and motivate a small crew. • Reliable, punctual, and communicative. • Comfortable working under a contractor who is actively involved and hands-on Long-Term Vision: While this project is contract-based, we are a growing company. Our goal is to continue working with the same journeyman and crew on future projects as they come in. If we work well together and you’re a good fit, there’s opportunity for consistent ongoing work. Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour Work Location: In person
