Journeyman Plumber

Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing systems and be able to work independently or as part of a team. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction. As a Journeyperson Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in various settings. Duties • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. • Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems. • Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using appropriate tools and techniques. • Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks. • Conduct field service calls to troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide timely solutions. • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure seamless project completion. • Perform routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to prevent future issues. • Adhere to all safety regulations and building codes during all work activities. Skills • Proficient in blueprint reading to accurately assess project requirements. • Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems and components. • Ability to assemble various plumbing fixtures with precision. • Experience using power tools effectively in a safe manner. • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing installations. • Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus for integrated projects. • Maintenance Person skills that extend beyond plumbing are beneficial for diverse tasks. • Valid commercial driving license preferred for transportation of materials and equipment.
