This person is naturally curious about the world around them, isn’t satisfied with “just because” answers, and is proactive about asking “why?”. They understand the ins and outs of social platforms and are familiar with the kind of organic social metrics that matter for brands. They love culture and can bring their passion and knowledge to help the team draw connections between social data and the world around us. They are a born collaborator who is excited by the potential of partnering with team members across disciplines, from creative, to account, to social strategy to inform award-winning work.
By partnering with team members outside of their own discipline, this person will gain exposure to primary research, data strategy, and social strategy, while simultaneously executing their day-to-day duties related to social listening and content analysis. They will have the opportunity to contribute to research, competitive audits, trends reports, and platform deep-dives that will help to push Apple to new territories creatively.
Responsibilities
Support the data team with translating data into insights that inspire strategic and creative opportunities
Pull, organize, and draw insights from organic social data and social listening data for reporting across Services
Craft reporting that is visually beautiful and simple to understand for stakeholders across the agency and client teams
Manage the timeliness and accuracy of data pulled - we act as the source of truth for our strategy team!
Forge close relationships with social strategy, creative, and account teams, as well as clients at Apple
Present reporting to internal teams and clients
- Learn how to use our suite of tools across social listening, channel analytics, and syndicated research
Who will thrive in this role?
1-3 years experience working on large brands within advertising agencies, ideally in a social or analytics role
An excellent communicator and relationship builder who isn’t shy to share their opinion and build POVs using data
An internet sleuth who lives and breaths social media and stays up-to-date on the latest trends
An “i dotter” and “t crosser” who lives in the details and has a knack for accuracy
A confident, concise writer that can communicate on and off the page with personality
Ability to stay flexible, pivot regularly, and thrive in a high functioning environment
Ability to take feedback constructively, positively, and is eager to learn and grow
Proactive self-starter with the ability to operative across multiple work streams
- Proficient as Microsoft Excel functions like pivot tables, v-lookup, basic statistical analysis

Standard salary range for this role starts at $65,000. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, skills, potential impact, and scope of role.
