Do you have a solid grasp on fundamental accounting principles, including journal entries, month-end closing processes, and bank reconciliations? As a Junior Accountant, this vital role assists in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our financial records, supporting the overall financial health of the organization. Responsibilities: • Assist in maintaining the general ledger by posting and verifying financial transactions. • Support the month-end closing process by preparing and posting necessary adjusting journal entries. • Reconcile and analyze account balances, ensuring all entries are complete and accurate. • Collaborate with senior accountants to review and resolve any discrepancies. • Ensure that all transactions comply with the company's financial policies and procedures. • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. • Provide support in the preparation of audit schedules and liaise with external auditors as needed. • Assist with other accounting projects as deemed necessary. • Provide administrative support to the accounting/finance department, as needed. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. • Proficiency in GAAP principles. • Proficiency in Excel. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
