GLOBAL MARKETING, JUNIOR ASSOCIATE

CALVIN KLEIN FRAGRANCES - NEW YORK (12-month position)

We are actively looking for a Junior Associate to join our Calvin Klein Fragrances Global Marketing team

based in NYC, for a 12-month period. The Junior Associate will work closely with the team's Global

Marketing Managers and Directors to develop new product launches and campaigns.

THE ROLE

In this role you will be responsible for:

Assisting Calvin Klein Global Marketing team in all areas of the marketing and development process

including strategic, operational, creative, and administrative responsibilities.

In the specific, the candidate main tasks will be:

1. Assist team in launching new products and following support initiatives

a. Participate in fragrance packaging development (bottle, outerpack and ancillaries)

b. Coordinate with internal project development teams to help drive 360 development of launch on brief

and on time: creative, merchandising, PR, R&D, Media, Digital, Education and Promotions

c. Manage artwork review process, maintain and monitor project timelines.

d. Develop 360 animations for new franchise and kick off launch, producing recommendations for key

point of sale activation initiatives

e. Support team in all campaign production and post production needs to ensure best in class execution,

including shoot needs, post production and editing for key platforms (TV, print, digital)

f. Responsible for mock-ups development and launch tools

2. Prepare and coordinate Internal Meetings

a. Organize mock ups & materials for meetings

b. Assistance on presentations & video creations

3. Performance & competition analysis

a. Follow-up & analysis on the line's performance

b. Partner with Marketing Managers to produce regular competitive analysis to help steer brand

development and execution; including but not limited to: sales updates, strategic insights and

monitoring competitive set

c. Conduct on-going competitive research, collect and analyze data to gain in-depth understanding of

competitive launches and to identify best-in-class strategies and emerging trends.

QUALIFICATIONS

We'd love to see candidates who have:

Essential: • Working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree in marketing or related field.

Relevant work experience.• Excellent communication and presentation skills, MS Office, self-starter, resourceful,

detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, ability to

work collaboratively across functions, professional maturity, balance of analytic and

creative skills, curiosity, flexibility, "can do" attitude, personal presence, strong

organizational skills

Desirable: • Previous internships in Marketing, beauty, luxury retail and/or fashion preferred• Luxury brand sensibility, fashion, media and trend savvy.
