Job description: Job Title:Junior Carpenter - Pest Exclusion Location:New York, NY (Queens) Multiple Shifts Availible - Both include weekends. Must be able to work weekends. Shift A:Full-Time | Friday-Monday | 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM (10 hours work/ 4 days week) Shift B:Full-Time | Friday–Tuesday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8 hours work/ 5 days week) Pay:Competitive hourly wage between$25 and $35 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. What You’ll Be Doing: • Repair pest-related damage to structures (e.g. wood rot, holes, chewed framing) • Install pest and wildlife exclusion systems (e.g. screens, sealants, one-way doors) • Perform basic finish carpentry: spackling, drywall repair, trim work, caulking • Disconnect/reconnect appliances (e.g. dishwashers, fridges) for work access • Use hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently • Maintain safe, clean workspaces and follow all safety guidelines • Communicate professionally with clients and team members • Drive a company-provided MMPC vehicle to job sites across NYC Who You Are: • 1+ years of carpentry experience (rough carpentry a plus) • Skilled in basic repairs: drywall, spackling, cutting and shaping materials • Comfortable working in crawl spaces, attics, rooftops, and other tight or elevated areas • Strong communication and customer service skills • Must be able to workFriday through Tuesday, including weekends • Must have a valid driver’s license with minimum 2 years of driving experience in New York City. • Reliable and punctual, with a proactive, team-oriented attitude • Willing to work overtime when needed to complete time-sensitive projects What We Offer: • Competitive hourly pay + performance-based bonuses • Health, dental, and vision insurance • Paid time off and company holidays • Training and development opportunities • Tools, safety gear, and company vehicle provided • A supportive team that values your craftsmanship Apply now to join MMPC and put your skills to work in a role that protects and restores homes across NYC.
