Junior Cartographer - TS/SCI Required

cFocus Software seeks a Junior Cartographer to join our program supporting DHS in Washington, DC, Capital Heights, MD, and Springfield, VA. This position has remote capabilities. This position requires active TS/SCI clearance and must meet 8570 requirements.
Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of specialized Cartographer experience
• Active TS/SCI Clearance
• Active Security+CE certification.

Duties:

• Acquire, analyze, compile, evaluate and review geospatial data for use in products or data holdings.
• Attribute, exploit, extract, format, manipulate, position and symbolize geospatial information.
• Create complex cartographic products on a variety of mediums (i.e. desktop, web based, mobile).
• Perform a variety of quality control, quality assurance, and currency of geospatial information produced.
