Gerresheimer Peachtree City L.P. was established in 1993 in Peachtree City, GA, as part of the Plastics & Devices Division manufacturing and assembling a variety of precision molded plastic parts for various applications in the medical industry. The subsidiary operates in an 87,500 sq. ft. production facility with 200 employees. 

Job Description

Implementation of maintenance activities (inspection, servicing, repair, development and implementation of improvements) at the production site.

- Independent completion of maintenance work on production / operating equipment

- Independent processing of orders in the area of responsibility

- Implementing transfer projects in accordance with internal guidelines

- Supervision and monitoring of external companies

- Ensuring spare parts management

- Proactive involvement in risk assessments at the site.

- Continuous improvement in the area of responsibility and adjacent interfaces (location)

- Coverage of internal target assignments in the area of responsibility (e.g. BImSch, sprinkler attendant, etc.)

Qualifications

Knowledge acquired as part of a 3-year technical vocational training program (e.g. in the fields of electrics, mechanics, mechatronics or similar) and expanded through advanced training to become a technician or master craftsman. This function requires at least 5 years of relevant experience in a comparable function in a maintenance/service environment.

  • 2-3 years' experience in control technology, understanding of reading and writing source code
  • 2-3 years' experience in the analysis and optimization of manufacturing processes
  • 2-3 years' experience using IT applications
  • 2-3 years of communicating with all levels of management
  • 2 years' experience writing technical reports
  • 2 years' experience in project management
  • 2 years' experience problem solving
  • 2 years' experience presenting to large groups
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Six Sigma certified
