In this role, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of our AI-driven cybersecurity solutions, supporting both our consulting services and our innovative penetration testing platform. Team & Product Focus As part of theProduct Engineering Team, you will: • Develop internal platformsthat streamline SiegePal’s security consulting operations. • Deliver customer-facing productsthat strengthen client defenses and operational efficiency. • Contribute to innovation at the intersection ofcybersecurity, machine learning, and AI-powered analytics. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain web applications using Django (Python) and Rust for back-end services, and Next.js for high-performance front-end interfaces. • IntegrateAI-powered tools, including OpenAI/ChatGPT, to enhance product functionalities and user interactions. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams todesign, develop, and implement innovative featuresthat align with our cybersecurity mission. • Engage inprompt engineeringto optimize AI interactions and improve product performance. • Ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end components, prioritizing security, performance, and scalability. • Participate inagile developmentpractices, includingcode reviews, continuous improvement initiatives, and best practices for secure software development. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field(or equivalent experience). • Proficiency in Django and Next.js, with a solid understanding of modern web development practices. • Experience or strong interest inAI tools, particularly OpenAI/ChatGPT, andprompt engineering techniques. • Passion for cybersecurityand a keen interest in developing secure, robust software solutions. • Strongproblem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to quality and innovation. • Excellentteamwork and communication skills, with a detail-oriented and hardworking approach. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience working withcybersecurity applications, penetration testing tools, or security-focused software development. • Machine-Learning stack:Familiarity withTensorFlow, NumPy, Pandasfor data processing or model prototyping. • DevOps & Cloud:Experience withKubernetes, Docker, and developing cloud-native services onAWS, Azure, or GCP. • Familiarity withsecure coding principles, authentication/authorization mechanisms, and data protection strategies.
