OVERVIEW

Movement Strategy is an independent social media agency. Now at its 12th year, with 85+ employees across offices, we produce groundbreaking content for partners including Netflix, Klarna, Amazon Prime Video, Warner Bros., and Under Armour. 

Movement Strategy is proactively seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to drive content creation with a specific focus on entertainment brands. You’ll work closely with art directors and creative directors to bring concepts to life from both a strategic and executional perspective. Ideal candidates will have a passion for the digital and social media space as well as a love of film and television. We are looking for someone with agency experience working on large brands and experience being a content creator in the entertainment space.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Junior Designer in our LA office, you’ll work closely with our full creative team to execute and shepherd through creative content. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Creating static and motion content for social channels including Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Pinterest, and TikTok
• Watching films and series to be able to pitch and create strategic digital and social content
• Working with internal editing team to produce graphics for video content
• Executing on larger, campaign-level ideas and content

REQUIREMENTS 

• 2–4 Years of Relevant Experience
• Minimum one year agency experience preferred
• Strong content design skills including typography, layout, photo editing and compositing
• Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator
• Experience with After Effects and Premiere a plus
• A knowledge of the creative process, especially social content creation
• Ability to work from idea to execution and distribution
