Junior Machinist

We’re hiring a Junior Machinist for our Houston, TX client! We are looking for experienced, reliable, hard-working employees who can interview immediately! DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB: • Job Title: Junior Machinist • Location: Northwest Houston • Pay: $20-$25 • Hours: Monday - Friday 6am-6pm, or 6pm-6am shift depending on openings • Duration: TTH • Description of Duties: Plan job by using work orders, reading blueprints, and work instructions, utilizing minimal steps. Set up, edit, and program machine controls, select tools needed, and perform hardness testing. Perform a variety of precision machining operations, ensuring exact placement of features, tapers, and maintaining tolerances within ±0.005 inches. • Requirements: High School Diploma or GED, 1 year of machining experience in a similar environment, must run Mills or Lathes, interpret drawings, and understand geometric tolerance.
