American Bath Group (ABG), a leader in North American bathroom fixtures, is searching for a Junior Marketing Project Manager to join the Marketing team and help execute marketing and commercialization projects. ABG is an ambitious and dynamic company focused on changing North American homes through aesthetics, performance, and innovation. Under the supervision of the Director or Lead Marketing Project Manager, the Junior Marketing Project Manager will apply the fundamentals of marketing project management. Their main objective is to execute projects and initiatives that support brand and product commercialization initiatives. The position includes close collaboration with our Sales, Brand, Channel, and R&D teams.
The ideal candidate will be motivated and eager to learn the project management role. They will need to demonstrate active involvement and participation in all their projects. The position involves regular communication with various parties. Strong communication skills are required.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Project management of all tasks on a daily basis:
• Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, tasks, dependencies, and resource allocation.
• Track and monitor projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards; maintain regular communication with project stakeholders on the status.
• Maintain accurate and organized project documentation within the project management system, including meeting notes, status reports, and project deliverables; ensure the project scope is clear and that the execution is done effectively and efficiently.
• Follow-up on tasks with upcoming due dates or delivery dates.
• Ensure that project deliverables are on time.
• Identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate concerns as needed.
• Assist in monitoring project budgets and expenses.
• Manage the day-to-day activities associated with the marketing efforts for the specified brand, division, or business channel, including project management, creative development, and cross-functional implementation, including but not limited to:
• Product Line Extensions and fast-track/agile projects
• Corporate and departmental projects
• Special projects
• Product development launches
• Support the development of brand and sales strategies as well as the marketing plans across the organization;
• Maintain brand integrity across product lines, marketing tools and all other internal & external communication as it pertains to assigned brands and channels;
• Collaborate with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, product & channel marketing, R&D and operations to execute specific marketing plans;
• Prepare commercialization and communication plans for all projects;
• Support the brand, channel, and sales teams with identified programs to generate growth, build incremental sales and/or brand awareness within the channel(s);
• Develop and execute creative material in support of the brands and related products.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, project management, communications, commerce/administration or equivalent work experience.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience; or 2 years minimum as Marketing Coordinator with basic training in Project Management.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Fluent in English
