Gerresheimer Peachtree City L.P. was established in 1993 in Peachtree City, GA, as part of the Plastics & Devices Division manufacturing and assembling a variety of precision molded plastic parts for various applications in the medical industry. The subsidiary operates in an 132 K sq. ft. production facility with 200 employees. 

Job Description

Measuring for plastic parts, assemblies and other components as part of tool qualification on Coordinate Measuring Machines & manual equipment.

• Preparation of machine, process and measuring equipment by means of the software specified for this purpose on your own responsibility.
• Independent creation of reports for internal measurement services
• Independent clarification of metrological problems if necessary in a team.
• Independent creation of measurement reports for plastic components based on given, software – based, content
• Independent work preparation incl. weekly and daily planning for measurement tasks according given priorities
• Verification of test results & Reaction in case of deviation according to internal process specifications

Qualifications

Job requirements:

• Basic Knowledge in the field of testing equipment (e.g. Zeiss Contura G2, Zeiss O-Inspect 8/6/3, Zeiss Metrotom 800, dial gauge, etc…)
• Basic knowledge in dealing with technical drawings
• Basic knowledge of test methods and measurement technology
• Basic knowledge of the required QM guidelines
• Basic knowledge in the field of preparation of technical reports
• Basic knowledge in the field of occupational safety during functional tests (technical, organizational and personal protective measures)
• Good IT user skills(especially Office programs, MES)
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English
• GMP/GDP basics
