Job Description
ASRC Federal s actively seeking a Oracle Database Administrator to join our growing team and support our federal custome in the DMV area.
Position: Database Administrator
Clearance: Active Secret clearance
Responsibilities:
- Database administration on Oracle servers
- Install database scripts and software applications on both database and web application servers
- Analyze and define database and security requirements
- Develop database queries and apply patches in test and patch environment
- Coordinate with Testers and Test Leads for backup, rollback and recovery plans
- Configure, maintain, and support databases in an enterprise operations environment per application instructions or requirements
- Support Data-at-Rest encryption (TDE)
- Support Oracle Golden Gate and Dataguard
- Interface with the production support team and software developers to resolve daily database issues
- Troubleshoot issues stemming from a wide range of errors including problematic database scripts, IIS configuration, Windows application errors, etc.

Requirements
Requirements:
- Experience in Oracle 11, Oracle 12 and Oracle 19C
- Experience with Data Guard and standby server operation
- Experience with Linux and Windows Server
- Experience working with and supporting Agile processing
- Ability to communicate complex ideas verbally and in a written format
- Successful candidate is subject to a background investigation by the government and must be able to meet the requirements to hold a Government Clearance.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Active Secret clearance.
Desired:
- Experience performing code reviews
- Experience analyzing requirements
- Experience with Exadata and ZDLRA is a plus
- Experience with Oracle Golden Gate
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Engineering, or similar discipline.
