Join us to build scalable, human-centered technology that empowers frontline workers and improves lives across the U.S. About the role The Junior Full Stack Engineer supports the design, development, and maintenance of Pear Suite’s software applications. This role focuses on learning and applying best practices in software engineering, contributing to new and existing features, and growing technical proficiency under the guidance of senior engineers. What you'll do • Collaborate with senior engineers to design and develop new features and functionality. • Write clean, maintainable code using established best practices. • Test and debug applications to ensure reliability and performance. • Participate in code reviews and learn to give and receive constructive feedback. • Maintain and update documentation related to assigned work. • Support deployment and cloud environment management under supervision. • Learn and apply secure coding standards and data privacy requirements (including HIPAA). Qualifications • At least 1 year of work experience as a software engineer. • Basic understanding of modern web application development stacks (frontend + backend). • Familiarity with at least one of the following: React, Node.js/Express, or TypeScript. • Exposure to GraphQL, or cloud environments. • Eagerness to learn new technologies and frameworks. • Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate. • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing priorities. • Foundational understanding of UX/UI best practices.What we offer • The compensation range for this position is $85,000-$95,000 • A mission driven culture that values innovation, collaboration and growth • Fully Remote • Unlimited PTO • Health, dental, and vision insurance • Health and Wellness Stipend • Tech Stipend • Co-working Stipend
