SkyBridge Luxury & Associates has partnered with a premier lifestyle hotel in New York City to recruit an experienced and detail-orientedStaff Accountantto join its dynamic finance team.

Position Overview
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting functions, includingbank reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance, while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively with both finance leadership and department heads to support the property’s business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Performdaily and monthly bank reconciliationsto ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare and postjournal entries, accruals, and adjustments to maintain accurate general ledger balances.
• Assist inmonth-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring completeness and adherence to deadlines.
• Supportaccounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functionsas needed.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with department leaders to ensure accurate revenue and expense tracking.
• Assist in the preparation offinancial statements, forecasts, and audit documentation.
• Maintain proper accounting records in accordance with company policies and GAAP standards.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably inhospitality or lifestyle hotels.
• Strong understanding ofGAAP principlesand financial reporting.
• Proficiency inExceland hotel accounting systems (e.g., M3, Opera, BirchStreet, or similar).
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining collaboration within the finance team.
