Junior Staff Accountant - Full Time

Junior Staff Accountant – Full-Time Outsourced CFO Company with a focus on Catering and Hospitality Sector Must be willing and able to work in the West Loop of Chicago at our clients' office. This is not a remote position. Work hours are balanced and do not include "busy time". How You Will Contribute: As Junior Staff Accountant you will provide accounting support including, but not limited to: • Payroll Support • Account payable and receivables • Sales tax and reporting • Scanning source documents • HR support • Other tasks as assigned This role allows the ability for personal & professional growth to help meet your short and long-term career goals, through extensive communication with various departments within the company and with access to training, mentoring, and management by our Director of Accounting. Skills and Qualifications: · Minimum of Associates or Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting · Strong, clear communication skills with internal & client teams · Well-organized and a quick problem solver in a dynamic work environment · Ability to match transactions and identify discrepancies · Experience with excel and Quickbooks a plus · Basic understanding of GAAP This position will report directly to the Director of Accounting Services.
