Junior Staff Accountant

Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their accounting skills in a supportive environment. The Junior Staff Accountant will assist in various accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards while contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.This position is on-site, NO REMOTE applicants will be considered. Responsibilities • Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. • Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation. • Conduct cash flow analysis and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities. • Participate in regulatory reporting and auditing processes as required. • Assist with monthly financial reporting • Collaborate with senior accountants to prepare financial reports and interpret financial data for management review. Experience • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or a related major is required. • A foundational understanding of accounting principles including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and accrual accounting is essential. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting tasks is required. • Experience with financial software and tools that support effective financial management is advantageous.
