Junior Technician is the position within our Technical Services Department, emerging in your technician career and are employing the use of appropriate and effective troubleshooting and service behaviors and are modeling into quality workmanship.

• Maintain a professional and profitable repair and preventive maintenance service on Stryker's products, while ensuring compliance with the quality systems and manufacturer specifications.
• Deliver technical assistance and documentation to internal and external customers.
• Repair and check electronic / mechanical Stryker products
• Perform annual service checks at Customers on their Stryker products
• Promote Service contracts where possible
• Efficient management of documentation for internal as external references
• Give technical support to Product Managers and sales staff
• Give technical support to Customers and Sales Department
• Give IT support on certain instruments
• Ensure excellent follow-up on all customer initiated issues
• Respond to Service Complaints as defined
• Turnaround time for repairs within set guidelines
• Assist with service delivery, and training of Customers and Sales Staff

Minimum requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Clinical Engineering or other Electronic related equivalent qualification
• Minimum 12 months experience in medical electronics, combined with good mechanical skills, preferably in the hospital environment
• Stryker product portfolio knowledge preferred
• Ability to interpret manufacturing prints & troubleshooting guidelines
• Fluency in English, spoken & written
• Adequate IT knowledge (Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, MFG/Pro, Outlook)

Valid driving license.
