Other benefits: $75 monthly phone allowance Bonuses available when our team exceeds sales goals Job Summary We are general contractor in Sun City West, specializing in residential remodels (kitchens, bathrooms, media walls and whole home remodels). We have a great reputation and are known for our high quality work and exceptional service. We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and a strong background in customer service, with the ability to engage clients effectively. This role involves both inside and outside sales, focusing on high-end products and services within residential remodeling. The Sales Consultant will be responsible for understanding client needs, providing tailored solutions, and driving sales through exceptional service. This position would be available for walk-in customers and to handle all set-up appointments to review contracts/drawings and help make selections. This position will work out of our Sun City West showroom. Hours would be Monday through Friday, 8-4:30. Occasional house visits to customer homes and/or vendor showrooms to help with selections/design. A company vehicle will be provided for these visits. Duties • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice on products and services. • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase features and benefits. • Upsell products based on customer needs, ensuring they receive the best solutions for their projects. • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to close sales effectively. • Manage accounts by maintaining relationships with existing customers while actively pursuing new business opportunities. • Perform retail sales functions including cashiering, cash handling, stocking, and merchandising as needed. • Proposal Overview Consultations: Go over estimate and proposal with customer, review scope of work and contract. Take notes for requested revisions and enter notes in system for estimator to revise after consult. • Finalize Contract & Sale: Take deposit and create follow up appointments/schedule for customer and project. • Product Selections: Aid customer in selections of materials needed for project. Price selections using price lists and cost catalog. • Project Preparation & Preliminaries: Use our system & template forms to send customer lists of certain items needed based on project. Coordinate with vendors/reps to ensure products will be ready when needed for project. • Drawing Review:Go over prepared project drawings with customer, take notes for revisions & suggest other options as needed. • Maintain samples in showroom, request new samples from vendors when needed. Be the main point of contact for vendor reps. • Schedule appointments for customers at other vendor's showrooms if needed, accompany along if needed for certain projects. • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly. • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain an organized sales environment. • Aid in receiving process of showroom deliveries to ensure correct items received Experience • Proven experience in outside sales, inside sales, or retail sales, with a focus on high-end products preferred. • Familiarity with renovation, remodeling, and kitchen & bath sales is highly desirable. • Able to read and understand spec books and catalogs. • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful account management. • Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are an advantage. • Solid organizational skills with attention to detail in managing customer interactions and product information. • Basic math skills required for retail math calculations and inventory management.
