Machine Cocktail Bar/New Venue Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and passionate Kitchen Manager to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, particularly in fine dining and catering environments. As the KM, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards are met, and leading a team of cooks to deliver exceptional meals that meet our high standards. Responsibilities • Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen activities, including food preparation and cooking. • Ensure that all food served meets quality standards for taste, presentation, and safety. • Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, food safety practices, and equipment usage. • Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. • Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations. • Assist in menu planning and development to enhance customer satisfaction. Skills • Proven experience in the food industry with a focus on fine dining or catering services. • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. • Proficient in knife skills and various cooking techniques. • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Strong leadership abilities to motivate and guide kitchen staff effectively. • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating independence when necessary. • Passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
