Spanning over 26,000 square feet, it will be one of the largest family entertainment centers (FEC) in the South Bay area of Los Angeles. With a variety of attractions such as bowling, arcade games, projection darts, golf multi-sports, a full-service restaurant, a lively outdoor patio, and more, Level Up promises an unmatched entertainment experience for people of all age groups. The entertainment venue will open in fall of 2025.

Position Summary:
Level Up is looking for a vibrant and dynamicKitchen Managerto oversee all aspects of the Kitchen at our modern family entertainment center.The Kitchen Manageroversees all back-of-house operations, including food preparation, staff supervision, food safety compliance, and cost control. This role ensures the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and service.

• Lead and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, prep staff, and dishwashers.
• Oversee daily food production, preparation, and service for restaurant, and catered events.
• Has passion for cooking and brings positive energy in managing kitchen with high quality output
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Develop and maintain prep schedules, station assignments, and daily checklists.
• Manage food and supply orders, receiving, and inventory controls.
• Monitor food costs, waste, and portion control to meet budget targets.
• Coordinate with Sales, Bar Manager and Ownership on menu planning, specials, and events.
• Train and coach staff on proper techniques, guest service standards, and safety practices.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is maintained in good working order and report issues promptly.
• Evolve the food menu with new items as needed that cater to the demands of the guests.
Qualifications:
• Minimum3 years’ experienceas a Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge offood safety regulations (ServSafe certification required).
• Experience in ahigh-volume restaurant, entertainment venue, or hospitality environmentpreferred.
• Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage costs and control inventory effectively.
• Hands-on leader with strong culinary skills and team coaching abilities.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Eye for detail and ability to deliver high quality food experiences
• Confidence in handling both intimate and large-scale dining
• Comfortable in a metrics-driven environment with clear kitchen management goals
