Job Description
Clicks is currently seeking a talented and experienced Kitchen Manager at our high-volume restaurant and sports bar in Houston, Texas. As the Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and safety. You will lead a team of dedicated kitchen staff, manage inventory, and collaborate with our management team to develop and execute our menu offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
· Responsible for recruitment, hiring and training of kitchen staff
· Supervise kitchen staff, cooks and food preparation workers
· Oversee food preparation and cooking activities to ensure quality and consistency
· Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
· Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
· Ensure kitchen maintenance and cleanliness meets or exceedsClicksstandards
· Develop and update menu offerings in collaboration with the management team
· Ensure that all recipes, food preparations and presentations meetClicksspecifications
· Ensure all staff adhere toClickspolicies and procedures
· Manage kitchen budget and control costs
· Create a positive and rewarding environment that encourages retention and good morale
· Responsible for control of product with minimal loss
· Set and maintain effective inventory par levels
· Follow “Incident Report” and “First Report of Injury” procedures
Key Requirements:
· Must have minimum of 2 years full-service kitchen management experience in a high volume, fast-paced environment
· Must have hands on experience with food inventories and good understanding of all that impacts food cost.
· Ability to adapt and lead change
· Ability to manage multiple tasks in a time sensitive manner
· Actively supervises, motivates and develops staff
· Ability to work efficiently in a high-energy and demanding environment.
· Must have Food Manager Certification
Schedule:
• 10-hour shifts
• Day shift
• Night shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,000.00 - $41,000.00 per year
