Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Manager - experienced in Mexican cuisine - to lead our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, with expertise in both quick service and fine dining environments.
As a Kitchen Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensure high standards of food safety and customer service, and drive team performance to achieve operational excellence.
Responsibilities
• Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
• Train, develop, and supervise staff to enhance performance and promote teamwork.
• Implement effective cash handling procedures and manage POS systems (Toast POS, Micros POS).
• Coordinate food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new team members.
• Develop budgets and monitor financial performance to meet operational goals.
• Lead shift management activities to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and professional growth.
Requirements
• Proven experience in kitchen management or a similar role within the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices.
• Familiarity with POS systems (Toast POS, Micros POS) for efficient transaction processing.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Experience in training & development of staff to enhance skills and service quality.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle challenging situations effectively.
• Background in hospitality management or Mexican culinary experience is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
