The ideal candidate will work 2-10:00pm shifts and assist with banquets, which could require hours outside of that range. If you think you'd be a great addition to our team,please apply via our website: https://bmihospitality.applicantpro.com/jobs/3808036 Benefits: • Medical, dental, and vision offered after qualification period • Employee discounts at Hilton Hotels worldwide • 401k with match offered after qualification period • Washington State Paid Sick Leave • Vacation time accrued based on hours worked • Overtime pay for holidays worked, 10 holidays per year • Free parking Essential Functions (Duties include but are not limited to): • Manage all aspects of the kitchen including operational, quality and administrative functions • Manage the provision of food to Food and Beverage and Banquet outlets and taking action where necessary to ensure compliance with current legislation • Assist in positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner • Ensure foods are of good quality and stored correctly • Contribute to menu creation by responding and incorporating Guest feedback • Ensure the consistent production of high quality food through all hotel food outlets • Ensure resources support the business needs through the effective management of working rotations • Support brand standards through the training and assessment of the Team • Manage the kitchen brigade effectively to ensure a well-organized, motivated Team • Control costs without compromising standards, improving gross profit margins and other departmental and financial targets • Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety and food safety legislation • Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues • Cook for banquet events Job Requirements: • Experience in catering and restaurants • Must be able to communicate clearly to restaurant servers, managers, and other culinary personnel • Ability to follow recipes and menu specifics • Ability to reach, bend and frequently lift up-to 45 pounds • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule dependent on banquet events Please apply via our website:https://bmihospitality.applicantpro.com/jobs/3808036 Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $27.00 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Shift: • 8 hour shift Work Location: In person
