What you’ll do • Lead the kitchen team in preparing and serving high-quality kosher meals that exceed guest expectations. • Oversee menu planning, ensuring a diverse selection of dishes that cater to various dietary needs while maintaining kosher standards. • Manage food production processes, including inventory control and food handling practices to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. • Supervise staff performance, providing training and mentorship to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment. • Coordinate catering services for events, ensuring seamless execution from planning through service. • Maintain kitchen management protocols, including cleanliness, organization, and equipment maintenance. • Monitor food costs and assist in budgeting to optimize resources without compromising quality. • Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate specific health-related requests from guests. • Follow all pertinent Federal and State Labor laws. Basic qualifications • Proven experience in culinary management or a similar role within the food industry. Preferred qualifications • Extensive background in high volume production and banquet service. • Strong leadership skills with a focus on team management. • Experience in catering services. • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
