Laborer

CWM is seeking a reliable and hardworkingLaborerto join our team. This position involves performing various tasks on job sites, with duties that may change depending on the specific needs of each project. The Laborer will assist in the general operation of the job site, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently. - Key Responsibilities: • Flag trafficto ensure the safety of workers and the public on active job sites. • Set up and maintain erosion control measuresto protect the site and surrounding areas. • Load and unload materialsas required for project needs. • Shovel and rake dirt, gravel, and asphalt, preparing surfaces for further work. • Performgeneral site cleanup, maintaining a safe and organized work environment. • Check and maintain grade stakesto ensure correct elevation and alignment. • Set up and maintain traffic control aids(signs, barriers, etc.) to manage site traffic. • General maintenance of all equipment and toolsused on the job site. • Assist in any other duties as directed by supervisors. Physical Requirements: • The position requiresperiods of standing, walking, stooping, and bending. • Ability to climb equipment laddersto reach the operator's seat. • Must be able tolift up to 50 poundsperiodically. • Ability to work invaried weather conditionsand outdoor environments. Qualifications: • Must bewilling to work weekendsas needed. • Previous construction or labor experience is a plus. • Ability to followverbal and written instructionseffectively. • Team playerattitude with a strong focus on safety and job quality.
