Laborer - High End Residential Construction

Laborer – High-End Residential Construction We are looking for a construction laborer to join our high-end residential projects across the Philadelphia region. This position will work closely with the site superintendent and on-site carpenters as part of the team throughout the build process. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of construction and interest in learning about the unique opportunities and challenges that arise in the high-end construction environment. They will also have the professionalism and care to work on these private high-end homes with our partners and in-house team. This exciting role places you in the heart of building some of the most exquisite and distinctive homes in the Philadelphia area. Responsibilities • Ensure construction site and all work areas are clean, safe, organized and well maintained • Clean and clear debris and hazardous materials • Collect and dispose of trash • Perform physical demands such as lifting a minimum of 50 pounds, operate in a dusty and noisy environment, work on tasks in potentially uneven terrain • Complete work in tight or high spaces such as scaffolding and crawlspaces • Load and unload materials/deliveries • Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and properly stored • Report issues with equipment and unsafe conditions • Assist with installation of protection materials • Assist with erecting of temporary structures • Provide assistance to carpenters and others as needed Qualifications • OSHA 30 certification preferred • OSHA/SST certification training preferred • General construction knowledge • Minimum 1 year experience in construction • Ability to meet physical demands as required by the position • Self-driven, motivated and proactive • Team player, possess good communication skills, able to follow directions in an orderly manner • Professional, organized and strong work ethic • Good time management skills • High endurance • Availability to work overtime as workload permits • Able to travel to jobsites with tools Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • On-the-job training • Paid time off • Safety equipment provided • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
