‎ : Discover a more connected Laborer Telecom Aerial career At VCI Construction, as a Groundman, you’ll support an Aerial Telecom Crew with the installation and maintenance of fiber/telecom cables and materials. We're looking for a Groundman to join our Aerial Crew team and help connect America. As a Groundman you will perform duties related to install and and repair aerial telecommunications cable and ensure scope of work performed is within standards required by customers.‎ : Connecting you to great benefits • Weekly Paychecks • Paid Time Off, Parental Leave, and Holidays • Insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance) • 401(k) w/ Company Match • Stock Purchase Plan • Education Reimbursement • Legal Insurance‎ : What you’ll do as a Laborer Telecom Aerial • Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed • Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed • Ensure that door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day • Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment • Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools • Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines • Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed • Perform work in all weather conditions • Other duties as assigned LA County Pursuant to the LA County Fair Chance Hiring Ordinance all job postings must include a list of all material job duties of the specific job position which the employer reasonably believes that criminal history may have a direct, adverse and negative relationship potentially resulting in the withdrawal of the conditional offer of employment.
