Landscape Laborer

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess a variety of skills related to landscaping and maintenance. This role involves performing various tasks to enhance and maintain the aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties. The Landscape Laborer will work with a range of tools and equipment, contributing to projects that include lawn care, tree care, hardscaping, and more. Duties • Perform lawn care activities including mowing, trimming, and edging to ensure well-maintained landscapes. • Assist in landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, weeding, and mulching. • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks. • Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues during operation. • Participate in tree care activities including tree trimming and removal as needed. • Engage in hardscape installation projects including patios, walkways, and retaining walls. • Assist with irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper water distribution. • Support snow plowing efforts during winter months to maintain accessibility for properties. • Collaborate with team members on construction projects related to landscaping enhancements. Requirements • Proven experience in landscaping or related field is preferred but not mandatory. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate excavators and other heavy machinery is a plus. • Familiarity with horticulture principles and practices is beneficial. • Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions. • Knowledge of gardening techniques and plant care best practices. • Experience with landscape maintenance practices including irrigation systems, mowing, and snow plowing. • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other landscaping equipment safely. • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
