Las Vegas In Person Mid-level Frontend Engineer - Typescript, React, Next.js, Tailwind, react-query

Overview: I am seeking a talented and motivated Mid-level Engineer to join the team. Someone who is experienced with frontend web technologies, has formed ideas about best practices, and has proven to be constantly keeping up with the latest developments in frontend and AI technologies and can start September 2, 2025. I'm only looking for in-person Las Vegas based individuals who are reliable, intelligent, hard working, trustworthy, and have a good attitude about learning the latest frontend technologies that can commit to working in person in Southwest/Enterprise Vegas Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4pm. I'm expecting you to already have a good skill level in web technologies (such as React, Next.js, Typescript, Graphql, HTML/CSS/Javascript, etc) and a mindset that is eager to learn about the latest front end technologies. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with senior engineers to design, develop, and maintain web applications - Assist in the implementation of new features and functionality - Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during development or in production - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code - Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices - Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies - Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends Qualifications: Technologies that we are working on (in order of importance): React JS, Next JS Typescript Tailwind CSS, Styled Components React Hooks (useState, useEffect, useMemo/useCallback, custom hooks) React Query / SWR React Hook Form Javascript ES6+ Semantic HTML/HTML 5 Git Graphql / Relay Authentication (Auth0) Node.js TRPC Postgres and Mysql SEO methodologies Google map/mapbox - Familiarity with version control systems such as Git - Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Strong communication and collaboration skills Bonus if you know or are interested in these technologies as well: Nx, docker, aws, git/gitlab ci Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Application Question(s): • How do you go about fetch data in react and next.js?
