What You’ll Do As a Laser, Press Brake Technician, you’ll bring precision and creativity together, working to process raw materials, including steel and stainless steel of various thicknesses through our state-of-the-art Amada 6000KW Fiber Laser and Amada Press Brake w/auto tool changer (ATC). You’ll collaborate with a talented team to bring both simple and complex projects to life. You’ll create precision cut, bent and rolled materials for our fabrication teams to use in the creation of final products for our customers and our future Lithium Separator plant in Terre Haute Indiana. Our shop is fully climate-controlled, ensuring year-round comfort, and equipped with cutting-edge technology including two 10-ton cranes and precision fixturing to aid in the assembly processes. ENTEK’s locations are non-smoking.Requirements: What Makes You a Great Fit Minimum Qualifications • High school diploma or GED • Two (2) years of applicable experience • Basic math skills • Experience with cutting or press brake forming equipment. • Experience using various hand tools, power tools, drill press, and load-moving equipment (i.e., pallet jack, dolly, forklift, etc.) • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret supplied documentation and instructions (including blueprints) • Satisfactory results from a pre-employment fit-for-duty screen and a drug screen Preferred Qualifications: • Trade school program certificate; or • Four (4) years related experience and/or training What We’re Looking For We’re seeking people who take pride in their work and want to grow their skills in a supportive environment.
