Job Description

Gameloft is looking for a talented and skilled Lead 3D Animator, who will play a key role in the animation team.

Your extensive expertise in game development and the animation pipeline will enable you to collaborate effectively with the game designers, art director, and motion design team to create a unique and captivating experience for our users.

Qualifications

• Passionate about mentoring others to further develop their artistic and technical skill sets and are excited about managing, leading, and continuing to grow a world-class character art team.
• Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills.
• A demonstrable commitment to creative collaboration within a team and with other departments.
• Strong professional experience in animation;
• Deep understanding of animation principles and the best way to employ these;
• Excellent knowledge of human/creature anatomy and motion;
• Experience with Biped, Cat and Custom rigs;
• A mastery with various animation styles, realistic and stylized in both 3D and 2D a plus;
• Experience in 3dsMax is essential;
• Passion for video games and animations!

Will be a plus:

• Experience in motion capture data files;
• Data experienced in working with animations in most popular game engines;
• Experience in Flash and 2d animation.
