Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Liaise closely with Middle & Back Office operations (Trade Ops, Valuation, and Data Management), AOS (Level 1) support team and technology application teams to provide especially Eagle related production support.
• Perform technical analysis and development to troubleshoot production issues and triage with various teams to resolve production issues in a timely manner for trade processing, security mastering, pricing and valuation.
• Provides full development, support and complex problem resolution that meet customer requirements and SLAs
• Prepare and send communication banners for critical production issues impacting SLAs
• Perform root cause analysis and perform on-going updates of production support procedures for various functions
• Prepare operational metrics for daily production support activity
• Improve operational efficiency by reviewing patterns and identify opportunities for automation
• Act as a SME and business point of escalation for key production issues related to Eagle applications.
• Document current state functional workflows across the business areas defined in the summary and design end to end strategic workflows meeting key business and operational needs
• Prepare documentation on known issues and troubleshooting steps
• Liaise with different towers like storage, Network, Database team and implement application migration to private cloud.
• Provides solutions for full stack data migration for hardware and software refresh.
• Translate and migrate systems from physical servers to private dedicated cloud systems.
• Implement Network based Load balancers with Firewall security with middleware products including WebLogic and Jobs

Investment Management Business areas supported include Corporate Actions, Trade Operations, Portfolio Accounting, and Pricing, Collateral Management, and Derivatives Trade workflow. Business and Operational knowledge of Equities, Futures, Forwards, Options, OTC and Cleared Swaps, Mutual Funds, Structured Products, ETF and Fixed Income Securities is necessary.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of Buy/Sell side experience working at Hedge Fund/Investment Manager development related to complex and strategically relevant projects
• Experience in creating solutions in EAGLE IWS, EAGLEML, Message Center, Panel, PACE ETL, UNIX shell scripting, XML, XSLT, MQ, MQFTE, Autosys, Sterling Integrator, Oracle 12c, SFTP and Data Distribution Framework knowledge. Data Lake knowledge on Zaloni will be a big plus
• Experience on the following Eagle Investment Systems suite of products: STAR, PACE, Account Reference Manager, Reference data management - SRM (Security Reference Manager), Pricing Center, Workflow Manager, Scheduler, Message Center, Data Mart, Reporting, and Performance Measurement module

Preferred Skills:

• Strong expertise on Trade Processing in Eagle with various OMS (Charles River, Bloomberg AIM, Murex) and Trade Settlement processing in TDMS (Trade Data Management System, a light speed product)
• Strong expertise on Eagle Pricing Center in Eagle with various Pricing vendors (Reuters, IDC, MarkIT etc.) with exposure to IWS (Integration and Workflow Studio) module.
• Understanding of Corporate Action, Trade Processing, Portfolio Accounting, Pricing, Derivatives workflows and Collateral Management business concepts are required
• Prior experience as a developer for production support for Trade Processing, Pricing, Security mastering and Performance calculations is required.
• Hands on experience with scheduling, monitoring and file transfer tools Autosys, Splunk, IBM Sterling Integrator and Connect Direct
• Experience with data management products and tools, relational database systems, Data Mart, metadata management products and tools, ETL tools like Data Stage, Reporting tools like OBIEE and Tableau
• Ability to write complex SQL to query large data sets within Eagle PACE across multiple schemas
• Ability to document current and target state business process functional workflows using tools such as Microsoft Visio and PowerPoint.

Base Pay Range: $105,000/yr. - $175,000/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
