Summary

About the Position: This position is located at Evans Army Community Hospital in the Resource Management Division, Program and Budget Branch. The incumbent of this position will serve as the Lead Budget Analyst.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
  • Financial Management Certification Level 2 is required within 2 years of being hired. Failure to obtain this certification within the required time may subject the incumbent to adverse action.
  • This position is subject to screening and update of required immunizations unless exempted for medical or administrative reasons in accordance with Army Regulation 40-562, Chapters 3 and 4.
  • Selectees will be required to sign a statement (Condition of Employment) consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations or must provide a recognized exemption.
  • Position is designated as Inclement Weather Essential. The incumbent must make every attempt to report for work on time and/or remain on duty during severe weather conditions.
  • This is a financial Management level 2 Certified position the National Defense Authorization Act(NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F- Financial Management, Section 1599d.

Qualifications

In order to qualify, you must meet the requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized experience: One year of specialized experience which demonstrates experience in developing and providing budget policy and guidance, formulation, execution, and financial advisory services to an organization; Providing oversight of operational funds and reimbursable funds for major programs; Analyzing trends and recommending alternate courses of action to managers to assist in planning and scheduling the funding for programs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
