Lead Business Analyst (Korean Speaking)

We are seeking a Lead Business Analyst with native/fluent Korean language skills and a strong background in insurance.
The ideal candidate will have experience in analyzing insurance data, products, and processes, engaging directly with client stakeholders in Korean, and be able to interpret and provide assurance over AI outputs in Korean.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between client stakeholders and technical teams
• Conduct thorough analysis of insurance data, products and processes to identify gaps and opportunities
• Elicit, document and validate business requirements using Agile methodologies
• Facilitate workshops, interviews and discussions with client stakeholders to understand business needs
• Create detailed functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented accurately
• Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies as needed
• Provide ongoing support for project delivery, addressing any issues or clarifications in a timely manner

• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years in the insurance domain
• Demonstrated ability to work in a bilingual (Korean and English) environment
• Experienced in working with Agile and other software methodologies
• Proficiency in BA techniques and tools; proven experience and knowledge on requirement management, including eliciting, analyzing, validating and formalization/regulation of requirements in written format
• Ability to create and maintain specification documentation
• Experience in modeling and analysis of business processes (e.g. UML, Modeling and Design skills)
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on experience with tools for data analysis or business process modeling (e.g., SQL, Visio)
• Understanding of regulatory or compliance requirements in the insurance domain
• Experience working with distributed teams across different time zones
