Lead Carpenter

Coastline Construction Group is a fast growing residential construction company focused on high-end residential remodels and ADUs. We hire people that take pride in being the best at what they do. We are looking for a Lead Carpenter to perform the following duties: • Install windows and exterior doors. • Instal interior doors, case, base, shelving and other trim carpentry. • Install premanufactured cabinetry and vanities • Light framing • Install hardware ( bath, cabinet, door, etc. ) • Minor flooring work. • Miscellaneous carpentry needs on residential remodels and new construction. • Manage onsite activities of other carpenters and helpers. • Check on active job sites and document status via Daily Log updates. • Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure scope of work is completed accurately and on schedule. • Ensure quality of work meets our high standards. • Ensure job sites are clean. • Complete job site safety audits. • Complete OSHA toolbox safety talks with subcontractors. • Interact with clients on-site. • Attend building inspections. • Deliver materials when necessary. Requirements: • Clean driving record. • Must pass a background check. • Construction or trade school course work is preferred but not required. • Minimum 3-5 years carpentry experience. • Ability to consistently wake up early and be at a jobsite by 7am. • Excellent communication skills. • A strong desire to work hard and learn new things. • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
