Lead Cleaner Description Job description Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Cleaner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing cleaning operations, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various cleaning techniques and facilities maintenance, with the ability to lead a team effectively. Duties • Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities for both residential and commercial properties. • Perform thorough cleaning tasks, including buffing floors, maintaining cleanliness in all areas, and conducting industrial cleaning as needed. • Train and mentor team members on best practices for cleaning and maintenance procedures. • Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment. • Conduct inspections of cleaned areas to ensure quality standards are met. • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary. • Assist with residential painting projects when required, ensuring a clean work environment throughout the process. • Respond to any custodial needs or emergencies promptly to maintain operational efficiency. Skills • Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance practices and procedures. • Proficient in various cleaning methods including commercial cleaning techniques and floor care. • Experience with buffing equipment and industrial cleaning tools is preferred. • Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness in both residential and commercial settings. • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. • Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members alike.
