Lead Creative Digital Modeler

Lead Creative Digital Modeler - EL SEGUNDO, CA 

In this role, you will work directly with the VP of Design to ensure the Skyryse mission is translated creatively through a one of a kind cockpit designs. You will be engaged in design development from concept to production on new air vehicle platforms and work cross functionally to achieve breakthroughs in aviation design.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work through criteria driven problems and solve for both design A-surface and engineering B-surface requirements. 
• Expect to scope Exterior and Interior vehicle development. 
• Comprehending design aesthetics with considerations to ergonomics and engineering principles.  
• Works directly with design lead at the outset and during production development with engineering leads.  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in transportation design, vehicle design, or similar. 
• 6 years industry experience 
• Visualization skills using developed surface CAD to support on the design communication of surface assets during the design process and at the final product development stages
• Experienced Alias Autostudio Modeler with strong creative aptitude
• Ability to work through concept surfacing top A-class surfacing for production execution
• Self starter with ability to work independently with minimal supervision to influence organization 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 10+ years experience with
• Familiarity with Alias Studio tools and visualization software
• Excellent communication/coaching skills 
• Great attitude to improve processes to serve people
