Lead Developer – Custom Applications (x|f|m) - Hybrid

We are looking for a Lead Developer – Custom Applications (x|f|m) for our IT Software Development & Innovations department.
Are you a visionary development leader who is passionate about driving innovation in software development? You will take technical leadership on a dynamic development team and ensure that best practices are followed.

Grow with us – Your Responsibilities

• You guide and mentor the development team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement

• You will lead software development within the team to ensure high quality and on-time delivery of software projects

• You will set standards for the team by overseeing coding and driving development with a focus on Java, Spring Boot and React

• You will translate solution architectures into detailed, realiable software architectures and designs

• You will collaborate with developers and product owners within your team to implement solutions and create value for users

• Communicate between software developers, solution architects and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective project execution and promote knowledge sharing

• Proactively drive the introduction of new technologies and development processes/methods to improve productivity and software quality and continuously maintain a high standard

What will convince us

• You have a degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or a similar specialization

• This is complemented by several years of proven experience in software development, as well as an extensive portfolio of successfully completed projects

• In-depth understanding of various programming languages and frameworks, in particular Java, Spring Boot, React and cloud architectures

• We require sound expertise in the areas of software architecture, patterns, concepts and best practices

• Simplifying complex concepts and making them accessible to a broad audience is one of your strengths

• You describe yourself as a team player to identify and implement the best solution together

• You understand and practice agile software development, are open to brainstorming and POCs and drive solutions that add value for users

• Fluent English skills round off your profile
