This role requires advanced experience in the Finance & Statutory. Responsible for driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis. In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible to ensure all statutory and regulatory filings including statutory financial statements, tax filings and any other regulatory filings are completed timely, efficiently and in compliance with the country statutory and regulatory requirements for entity for Türkiye
• Conducts and coordinate all activities from planning of audit timeline, signing of engagement letter, preparation of statutory financial statement till the completion of audit, statutory financial statements, and tax filings
• Identification of US GAAP to statutory differences, adjustment analysis & decision making on proper accounting treatment
• Works self-sufficiently to resolve all audit queries without any assistance or after consultation with extended team members or people leader if needed
• Drive continuous improvements in all aspects of the statutory financial reporting operational processes, with a focus on improvement in execution and optimization
• Collaborate with cross functional partners to receive inputs, seek review and approval of outputs and maintain updates of status and progress
• Support people leader to resolve daily operational issues
• Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area
• May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework
• Resolves issues in situations that require good knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined policy/parameters

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in relevant field, ACCA or equivalent is preferable
• Advance knowledge of US-GAAP, IFRS and Turkish GAAP
• Minimum 2 years audit background with big audit firms are preferable
• Minimum 3 years of finance experience
• Advanced level of English and Turkish both oral & written
• Being comfortable with hybrid working condition
• Being comfortable living in Kocaeli or İstanbul
