Job Description

Employment Type : Full Time

Role : Lead Front End Engineer

Experience : 7 to 10 Years

Work Location: Chennai (Hybrid)

Salary: INR 9,00,000 - 18,00,000 PA

Objectives of this Role

• Collaborate with UI Designer to prototype the user experience during the design phase.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following coding best practices and industry standards.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance the overall code quality of the team.
• Collaborate with the product team for user acceptance testing
• Collaborate with the QA team to ensure proper testing and quality assurance procedures are followed throughout the development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in the web application
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
• Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science.
• 7+ years in IT industry with experience in Web and Front-end applications developed using UI frameworks
• 4+ years experience working with React development
• Familiarity in connecting to Microservices, REST APIs from React Front End
• Asynchronous programming including Promises, async/await, and ES7 generators, along with state management using Redux
• Hands-on with JavaScript Frameworks/libraries like ReactJS, Redux/Next.JS, Advanced JavaScript, HTML, CSS, DOM Concepts and RESTFUL APIs
• Extensive experience of developing secure, scalable applications in a fast-paced Agile environment
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a team-oriented attitude.
• Proficient in software development methodologies, standards, and tools (JIRA, Git, etc.)

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Solid understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with GCP cloud platform

Position Details: This is a full-time salaried position (40+ hours/week).
