Position Description
Title: Lead Generation Representative
Department: Corporate Accounts
Location: Remote
Immediate Supervisor: Lead Generation Manager
Status: Non-Exempt
Position Purpose: Generate qualified leads for end users.
Principle Accountabilities
- Lead Generation: Research and identify potential clients within target industries and markets using various sources, including online research, industry directories, and market intelligence tools.
- Cold Calling: Proactively initiate outbound cold calls to key decision-makers, introducing [Company Name]'s packaging solutions, and creating interest in our offerings.
- Marketing Campaigns: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns that resonate with the needs and pain points of potential clients.
- Email Outreach: Craft compelling and personalized emails to engage potential clients, showcasing our value proposition and encouraging them to explore our packaging solutions.
- Qualification: Qualify leads based on predefined criteria to ensure alignment with our ideal client profile, and gather valuable information to facilitate meaningful sales conversations.
- Appointment Setting: Schedule and coordinate meetings between prospective clients and our sales executives to further explore their packaging requirements and present tailored solutions.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions and activities in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the sales team to communicate lead insights, exchange feedback, and optimize lead conversion strategies.
- Performance Metrics: Meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) related to lead generation, including call volume, qualified leads generated, and meetings scheduled.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Business degree or equivalent experience in sales.
- Previous experience in a B2B lead generation or sales role is preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven track record of executing successful cold calling and lead generation campaigns.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in using sales tools and technologies.
- Self-motivated, driven, and goal-oriented mindset.
- Adept at conducting thorough research to identify potential clients and their pain points.
- Ability to adapt to changing strategies and market dynamics.
- Experience in the packaging industry or related fields is a plus.
