Lead Glazier

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual for the position of Lead Glazier/Installer for a residential/commercial glass company. We service the greater Houston area as well as far west as the Texas Triangle. This role requires a strong background in construction and hands-on experience with various tools and techniques. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing a range of tasks related to glazing, installation, and maintenance. A commitment to quality workmanship and safety is essential. Responsibilities • Perform construction estimating to assess project costs and requirements • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks • Execute glass installation with precision and care • Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications • Fabricate components as needed for construction projects • Use glazing software (Smart Glazier/GDS) to provide quick quotes and accurate measurements to the fabricator • Apply caulking in appropriate areas to ensure weatherproofing and aesthetics • Participate in remodeling projects, bringing creativity and craftsmanship • Handle heavy lifting as required during installations and material handling • Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the construction site Qualifications • Proven experience in residential and commercial glass installation • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work • Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods We encourage candidates who are passionate about glazing /glass business and possess the necessary skills to apply for this exciting opportunity.
